Tanglewood Forest Limited District is the local, grassroots government responsible for
services such as maintaining and operating parks and the pool; providing recreational
activities; enforcing deed restrictions; contracting for community-wide solid waste and
recycling collection; removing graffiti and contracting for supplemental security.
The Limited District was created in 1998 to allow residents to supplement services
provided by the City of Austin. The Limited District's superior services assure that the
neighborhood is an attractive place to live. That, in turn, helps protect your investment
in your home.
The Limited District is overseen by five of your neighbors who are elected to four-year
terms. The board of directors meets monthly to conduct the business of the District.
Meetings are held the third Monday of the month and are open to the public in
conformance with the Texas Open Meetings Act. Meetings are held either at the
Tanglewood Forest Community Room, adjacent to the pool, or at 100 Congress, 13th
Floor. Call 512-795-8461 for specific information.
Your Board of Directors remains committed to providing the best services at the lowest
possible cost.
